About the author
Stanley Octavius, DPT, ATC
Stanley is the president and founder of Diyite Rehabilitation Center Corporation (DIRECC). A licensed Physical Therapist in Florida, he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine and a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Florida Gulf Coast University. With extensive experience in outpatient rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities, he has dedicated his career to helping older adults age with strength, confidence, and dignity. Through his Active Aging book series and community programs, Stanley offers safe, effective routines that empower seniors to move freely, prevent falls, and live independently.

Born in Haiti and later emigrating to the United States, he carries the lessons his parents instilled early on: to fear God and respect everyone. He credits his mentors for guiding his path and believes the greatest gift he received through struggles was hope. His mission today is to pass on that torch of hope to those in need.
